Assalamualaikum and ohoi!

So... I haven't written in such a long time. Well, March had been a pretty eventful month. In short, I got a very satisfying, unexpected, one that I'm truly grateful for; SPM results, I got my driving license (yay!!!), tried new recipes, went to a couple of scholarship interviews, and here I am staring at the screen as I try to remember what else I did in March.

Nothing much, really.

But now we're in April. And my surprisingly boring, long, holiday is about to end... In ten days. Nine and a half, I would say, since today is ending soon. It kind of sucks because I planned to spend my entire April watching TV shows on iflix, but, oh well. 10 days to a new chapter of my life. And I'm still on a Doctor Who marathon. Come on, I can't just quit, tell me who in their right mind can resist The Doctor?!

That's right, pals; please make the most out of your holiday because you never know when you are going to wake up to your Mom telling you congratulations and that your holiday is cut short. That happened to me this morning.

I just want to say that good things come when you least expect them to. Have faith, keep praying, always keep your intention in check and have good thoughts in your Lord, in the people around you, and of course, in yourself :) If a door closes on you, remember that the door isn't meant for you. So stop looking at it, and try the other ones. Yours is specifically created just for you, decorated with colourful ribbons and balloons, with your name stamped in big letters over it. It's yours. You just have to wait for the right moment when it will be opened for you.

And when that time comes, you know that it cannot be any sooner or later. And be grateful for it. Be very, very, grateful for the opportunity you get. It's a blessing.

And what comes from Him is surely for the best of you.

A place for my random ramblings :)
I go by a lot of nicknames, Iqah, Pyon, and Effy.
What you call me doesn't matter as long as I am still the me that you know.
Someone who is grateful to be a part of your life, even as a stranger you passed by somewhere.
